Question for WWII buffs. Someone I know has a Longitude and Latitude numbers found amongst his father's WWII stuff. Any idea how he can find out the coordinates? He thinks it is an island.

Look on a map. It's not that hard. Honest.

Well, you do need to figure out which hemisphere you are in first, but that information should be included. E=east, W=west, N=north, S=south.

I he is having real trouble, put the numbers up here and one of us can probably dope it out (but I'm not saying which one).
