Just wondering about the extent and breadth of troop deployment and participation by Allied countries outside their own borders vs. remaining as resistance fighters within their own borders. Without offending anyone by omission, here's my rough uneducated guesstimate:

A. World-wide scope and breadth

Correct. It fought in the 1945 breakthrough to Bologna.

Dunno about _Brazilian_ P-47s, but the Mexican Air Force had a P-47 squadron in the Pacific (around Formosa IIRC).
