When i was in 7th grade my language arts teacher told me that the Polish people mostly killed the Jewish people in world war 2. Since im polish and know the history of my country very well i told her that the fact she stated was clearly wrong. Well i've read some articles saying i was wrong was I?

Wrong. (Well, that sentence is ambiguous, but either reading is wrong. The people the Poles mostly killed were Germans, the people who mostly killed Jews were Germans.) Poland did not have a good record for treating Jews, but there is a great deal of difference between ordinary anti-Semitism and death camps.

Since im I have no idea how anybody would get the idea that Poland was primarily responsible for the murder of the Jews, except possibly that the death camps tended to be on what was Polish territory before and after the war.
